The new KG 509 bodywork was produced with aerodynamic research and development. With the use of software CFD (Computational Fluid Dynamics) KG has been able to manufacture an innovative and effective product. This contributed to a significant drag reduction, 1 kg (10 N) at 80 km/h comparing to the model 507+508, thanks to its laminar flow and a more uniform downforce between front and rear axle.
