The #428 Deluxe Chain Breaker uses a three screw design. The first screw breaks the pin loose from the side bar, the second screw pushes the pin out, and the third screw is used for re-assembly.The first short pin is used to break the roller pin free from the sideplates. The chain is then moved to the long extractor pin position and the pin is extracted.
