Ribtect's product line is based on the highest quality of materials and production standards that can be found and we are constantly searching for ways to improve the product line.

The Ribtect2 panels are made with carbon fiber and fiberglass, which does a great job protecting the ribs, but the composite panels eventually wear out. Ribtect has tried a variety of materials to maintain longevity including different layups and resins.

After two years of extensive research and design, they have developed an improvement to the R2, and are in production now. The new panels are made with an injection molded "high tech" polycarbonate which are virtually "unbreakable". The end result is a much more "polished" and "finished" looking product that will last much longer than the composite panels.
