Electric Starter

 

This starter is used on the Rotax FR125, Parilla Leopard, PRD Fireball, and most other TAG motors. We carry the aftermarket Italsport and Eclipse brand which will work on the Rotax FR125 and Parilla Leopard. However, these aftermarket starters do not work on the PRD. We also carry all of the OEM starters.

 

Eclipse Starter Features:

~Double epoxy coated armiture. The coating holds the windings in place and helps dissipate the heat more efficiently.

~Casing with sealed bearings. Eclipse replaced the brass bushing with a sealed bearing. Ths centers the armiture in place and allows the starter to crank smoother becuase of the lack of resistance.

~Crimped terminal. Unlike the standard OEM where it is tac welded, the Eclipse terminal is crimped over the brush kit and then tac welded. This provides a solid contact to the power which will prevent the wiring from vibrating loose.
